Satire Video: How to Stalk Your Kids on Facebook and Twitter

This is a bit old (from last year) and it’s done for a comedic effect, yet I couldn’t help but notice the parallels between the bit in this video and the real life issues people have with adding their parents on social networking sites. It’s a bit over the top with their message, but it’s still funny to see the extremes a parent would go to in order to keep up with their children’s lives when they’re away at college. Once again, this is only a parody, but who knows. Maybe some parents actually act like this. I’m just grateful that my parents stay clear from computers.

This video is brought to you by the news satire The Onion and features a mock morning talk show known as "Today Now." The special guest, E-MOM, discusses how she keeps an eye on her son.
