Encyclopedia Dramatica: Funny Satirical Wiki or The Racist Underbelly of the Internets?

If there's something long-lasting you learn about being on the internet for a long time, it's that people are anonymous and they are mean. Spending a few minutes on the /b/ forum of 4chan.org reveals just how malicious these "Anons" can be. Creating porn or pornographic images for just about everything you can think of (called Rule 34 and there are no exceptions), or posting obscence .gifs of animal cruelty are just a few of the horrible things the trolls (internet bullies) at /b/ have gotten into (really, there are so much more). Even though they can be immensely cruel and intolerable for the average person, 4chan is notoriously the place where hilarious memes are born out of. From "rage toons" to "yo dawg" comics to "philosoraptor" images, they all came out of this hellfire of a forum and into other various internet websites where they eventually lose their funniness from overkill by teens. But many of the funny jokes and memes that come out of /b/ and also ebaumsworld are documented in hilarious detail and put into a wiki of the internets called Encyclopedia Dramatica, a satirical wiki webpage whose motto is "In lulz we trust". Depending on your level of tolerance, browsing the articles on this webpage can either be extremely sickening or full of laughs. Many of the articles are extremely racist (and to all races) or perverted, pointing to the high levels of intolerance when anonymity comes into play. But, again, if you're not easily offended (or offendable at all because you really don't need to be "easily" offended by some of the stuff they post), than many of the other articles that they post about various other "important" things such as "Shit Nobody Cares About", "No One Likes You", Apple products, and conspiracy theories (just to name a few) might just make you laugh. It's really a funny experience if you can stomach scrolling through some of the things they say. Also I wouldn't visit it if you don't want to see .gifs of hentai on the side (their choice of advertisement I guess).
