This article talks about how social networking is being integrated into military tactics to help lower civilian and military casualties. It is interesting to know how the military began using military chat rooms with predator drones to spot civilians and possible dangers. Military analysts are still able to talk to each other through the social networking site, often asking "what's up?" or "how was your day" during their shift. We see that not only is this a way of protecting soldiers, it is also a way for them to socialize outside of their platoon. There is also a clear difference between soldiers who are fighting in the battlefield, to the analysts who watch the battlefield.
