The increasing amount of users accessing social media websites have consistently increased throughout the years. Samsung, one of the leading providers of consumer electronics, have noticed its affect on how identity and image is shaped by this unique environment. This video portrays six different scenarios of fictitious but deadly characters that use a Samsung camera to capture their best angle to display as their Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter profile picture. These characters include but are not limited to an alien who's face appears to be of a young woman at a disco club and a group of vampires covering their blood-stained mouths who appear to be teenagers having fun and laughing. Samsung is making a statement that pictures can be tweaked to present your best angles and give the image and idea you want other's to recognize and know about.

Social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook have revolutionized the way we identify and portray ourselves to the world. For young users, these websites play a huge part in how we interact and communicate with others. Many of them may not know the validity of the information they are reading but still find the ability to trust the material displayed and distributed. Users are able to create their ideal persona, whether true or not, and give their audience a specific impression of their character, how they look, their intelligence, background, etc. However, its become a known fact that technology has given an opportunity to mask and improve one's image and encourage other users of the same website to accept this new found portrayal of themselves.
